Week 1 Reflection
Sophia DeVito Blog Post 1: My first week in Dev formal and informal assessments I feel like I have learned a lot. Not only do I know that I have learned new material, I enjoy going to the class Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. I love going and knowing I'm leaving with knowledge that will really help me when I become a teacher one day. I'm going to talk about just some of the things I learned from week one and I will use them later in life. what one of the main things we talked about was assessment. Assessment is super important, my definition of it would be that assessment is observing, recording in any way and documenting the work that children do throughout the day. It's about gathering all the information you can and being able to really understand how a child is doing in that class.
